The international hit musical & Juliet, which continues on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, will embark on a U.K. tour July 8, 2024, at the Manchester Opera House, where it will continue through July 20.

The 2024-2025 tour will subsequently play venues in Manchester, Southampton, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Birmingham, Cardiff, Nottingham, Leeds, and more. Casting will be announced at a later date.

The musical, which played London's Shaftesbury Theatre from 2019-2023, reimagines the William Shakespeare classic Romeo and Juliet, exploring what would have happened if Juliet didn't die.

Directed by Luke Sheppard, & Juliet features songs by Max Martin and a book by David West Read. The musical also has choreography by Jennifer Weber, set design by Soutra Gilmour, costume design by Paloma Young, musical supervision, orchestration, and arrangements by Bill Sherman, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Gareth Owen, video and projection design by Andrzej Goulding, hair, wig, and makeup design by Suzy Barrett, musical direction, additional arrangements, and orchestrations by Dominic Fallacaro, and casting direction by Stuart Burt.

With music from Grammy winner Martin, the score is filled with familiar pop songs from the last three decades, such as “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” “Larger Than Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling."

The Broadway production earned nine 2023 Tony nominations, including one for Best Musical.

& Juliet is presented by Max Martin and Tim Headington and is produced by Max Martin, Tim Headington, Theresa Steele Page, Jenny Petersson, Martin Dodd, and Rebecca Quigley.
