The Tony Awards have revealed the Nominating Committee for the 2023-2024 season, which includes 25 new faces and 35 returning. Newly appointed members will serve a three-year term.
Those joining the group are Bob Balaban, Danielle Barlow, Sarah Benson, Rick Boynton, Adam Chanler-Berat, Jordan E. Cooper, Ty Defoe, Andy Einhorn, Dan Foster, Linda Goodrich, Miranda Haymon, Christine Toy Johnson, Michael Korie, Lisa McNulty, Ira Mont, Jacqueline Diane Moscou, Benj Pasek, Helen Park, Jill Rafson, Florie Seery, Walt Spangler, Jason Tam, Cori Thomas, Patricia Wilcox, and David C. Woolard.
Returning from previous seasons are Warren Adams, Becky Ann Baker, Pun Bandhu, Christopher Burney, Kathleen Chalfant, Carmel Dean, Jill BC Du Boff, Dionne Figgins, Kamilah Forbes, M L Geiger, Michael R. Jackson, Raja Feather Kelly, John Kilgore, Kathy Landau, Andrea Lauer, Zhailon Levingston, Jonathan McCrory, Jess McLeod, James C. Nicola, Antoinette Nwandu, Neil Patel, Ralph B. The group will collectively decide on nominees for the 77th Annual Tony Awards in 2024 after seeing all of the season's plays and musicals. Nominations are then voted on by a much larger group of Tony voters, comprising union representatives and other industry professionals.
A date and timeline for the 2024 Tony Awards have not yet been announced.
