Feinstein’s/54 Below, the 134-seat supper club located below Studio 54, will boast these events of interest to theatre folk the week of May 18–25.

May 18–22: Encore with Lea Salonga
The original star of Miss Saigon and Allegiance performs standards, pop tunes, and Broadway ballads. This week’s performances conclude the longest continuous engagement in the history of Feinstein’s/54 Below. Click here for more details. 7 PM May 18–22, plus a second show May 20 at 9:30 PM

May 18: LIU Post Presents Post-ed Notes
Alumni from Long Island University/Post’s musical theatre program perform in a fundraiser for the school’s scholarship fund. 9:30 PM

May 19: Central Park and Other Dreams
Vivian Reed (Bubbling Brown Sugar) and vocalist/guitarist Allan Harris perform jazz that celebrates “the sights and sounds of the Big Apple.” The program will include the world premiere of CP4, a song cycle by two-time Emmy Award-winning songwriter William Schermerhorn and Matthew Sklar (The Wedding Singer and Elf: The Musical). 9:30 PM

May 20: Tyler Conroy and His Broadway Baes
Singer, songwriter, and Tyvid Tuesday web series host Conroy makes his Feinstein’s/54 Below debut with a cabaret of duets with Broadway performers including Joey Contreras, Matt Doyle, DeMarius Copes, and others. 9:30 PM

May 21: New York Film Academy Faculty Show
The school’s musical theatre department will present a concert of show music from Gershwin to Sondheim, plus original works from faculty composers, as performed by current students and celebrity graduates including Todd Buonopane, Kristy Cates, Lauren Elder, T.J. Mannix, and Wysandria Woolsey. 9:30 PM

May 22: You’re Gonna Hate This!
Lindsay Mendez and composer Michael Holland topline this 14-song revue featuring “darkly humorous tales of murder, corruption and mayhem [that] dovetail with a healthy dose of redemption” as performed by Keala Settle, Jenna Ushkowitz, Justin Guarini, Kelli Rabke, Lilli Cooper, and others. 9:30 PM

May 23–27: John Lloyd Young
The actor who earned a Tony Award for his performance in Jersey Boys returns to 54 Below with a concert of standards. 7:30 PM May 23-27; plus a second show May 27 at 9:30 PM

May 23 Make Them Hear You—A Celebration of African American Musical Theatre
Broadway Noire and Derrick Byars perform songs from shows including Ain’t Misbehavin’, Porgy and Bess, Big River, Purlie, The Wiz, Dreamgirls, Once on This Island, Ragtime, Aida, Hairspray, and The Color Purple. 9:30 PM

May 23: Pace University Musical Theatre Class of 2017
Twenty-two of the school’s finest young performers present “songs we sing in the shower, on a night out, and songs that hit closest to home.” 11:30 PM

May 24: Charlie Rosen’s Broadway Big Band
A 17-member jazz orchestra conducted by Charlie Rosen play Big Band arrangements of showtunes, sung by Broadway vets including Benjamin Walker (American Psycho), Ariana DeBose (A Bronx Tale), Alan H. Green (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), and others. 9:30 PM

May 25: Kathryn Gallagher
Gallagher, who made her Broadway debut in the 2015 Spring Awakening revival, performs a “mix of pop and musical theater favorites you know, brand new original songs with a rockin’ band and of course, plenty of stories of growing up and messing up.” 9:30 PM

May 26: Marti Gould Cummings
The drag artist takes audiences on a eclectic musical journey ”from Marti’s high school crushes and first kiss to finding the man of his dreams.” 11:30 PM

Named for co-owner Michael Feinstein and Studio 54, the one-time disco and current Broadway theatre in whose basement the club is located, Feinstein’s/54 Below is located at 254 West 54th Street in Manhattan.
