Off-Broadway's Classic Stage Company will honor Tony winner Nikki M. James (Suffs, The Book of Mormon) and Emmy winner Frank DiLella (NY1’s On Stage) during its 2024 Gala November 18 at City Winery.

Directed by Daniel Goldstein, the evening will be hosted by Tony nominee Jenn Colella (Suffs) and Michael James Scott (Something Rotten!). Presenters and performers will include Yassmin Alers (The Notebook), Tony winner Laura Benanti (Gypsy), Olivier and Grammy nominee Caissie Levy (Next to Normal), Andy Mientus (Spring Awakening), Tony nominee Andrew Rannells (Gutenberg! The Musical), and Tony winner Shaina Taub (Suffs). Jason Weixelman will serve as the stage manager. 

"I'm so grateful to our wonderful honorees, Nikki M. James and Frank DiLella, who are both talented and tireless advocates for CSC's mission and for the promotion of the performing arts. We're lucky to have their voices in this industry, and all of us at CSC are incredibly excited to shower them with some well-earned thanks,” said Producing Artistic Director Jill Rafson in a statement. “We have fantastically supportive sponsors for this event, and I know it's going to be an unforgettable evening."

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 6 PM followed by dinner and performances at 7 PM. Proceeds will raise funds for Classic Stage's mission of creating thought-provoking theatre and introducing the power of the classics to thousands of students in New York City every year.

Alison Haggerty Stevenson, Ilyssa Coghlan, and Matthew Grossman are the co-chairs of the gala.
