News Jason Gotay, Remy Zaken and More Set for 22@54, Evening of New Work Hosted by Joe Iconis Musical theatre composer Joe Iconis, whose music has been heard on the NBC musical series "Smash," will host 22@54, featuring original songs by emerging writers from NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program's class cycle 22, May 22 at 54 Below.

The concert, set to begin at 11 PM, will benefit Artists Striving to End Poverty (ASTEP).

Performers at 22@54 include Benjamin Eakeley (On a Clear Day..., Sweeney Todd), Jenny Fellner (Wicked, Pal Joey), Jason Gotay (F$%King Up Everything, Bring It On), Sara Jean Ford (How to Succeed…, Phantom of the Opera), Karl Josef Co (Allegiance), Megan McGinnis (Les Misérables, Little Women), Curtis Wiley (Jersey Boys national tour), Jason "SweetTooth" Williams (Joe Iconis & Family) and Remy Zaken (Spring Awakening).

Contributing writers include Danny Abosch, Avi Amon, Nikko Benson, Landon Braverman, John Carden, Jason Carlson, Ashley Chapman, Thirza Defoe, Nolan Doran, Jesse Goldman, John Grimmett, Kiran Gupta, Julia Gytri, Benjamin Halstead, Derek P. Hassler, Jiyoung Kim, Sujin Kim, Yan Li, Teresa Lotz, Daphny Maman, Collin Martin, Naomi Matlow, Helen Park, Kendell Pinkney, Jason Purdy, Aden Kent Ramsey, Sarah Rebell, Janine Robledo, Tidtaya Sinotuke and Patty Weinstein.

22@54 was conceived by Sarah Rebell and is produced by Rebell and Landon Braverman. Jen Wineman (F$%king Up Everything) directs, with musical direction by Max Mamon (Marie Christine).

Producer Rebell said in a statement, "We believe it is essential to raise awareness of the importance of arts education and to pay it forward. ASTEP is a wonderful organization that does incredible things for impoverished children all over the world; we are thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with ASTEP on this event."
