Who's got the bag?! Will Brill has won the 2024 Tony for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for his performance as Reg in Stereophonic.

David [Adjmi], Justin [Craig] and Daniel Aukin and Will Butler took a real chance on casting a play with a bunch of nobodies," Brill said onstage accepting his award. "And then all of a sudden, Sue Wagner and John Johnson and Greg Nobile were like, 'You know what, we could put that on Broadway and that could be a nice thing.' So what the heck, this is really nice. I just want to say I wouldn't be here without my therapist, Rachel Terty, and my bass teacher, Robbie Seahag Mangano."

As Reg, Brill breathes fresh life into the troubled rockstar archetype, lending a dynamic pathos to the addicted bass player inches from rock bottom and the end of his marriage.

Having previously appeared on Broadway in Act One, You Can't Take it With You, and Oklahoma!, this is Brill's first Tony win as well as his first Tony nomination. A graduate of the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, Brill previously received the Drama Desk Ensemble Award alongside the rest of the cast of Stereophonic.
