With just a few days to go until the 76th annual Tony Awards—set for June 11 at United Palace in NYC's Washington Heights—Playbill has all the details on how to watch this year's ceremony. Whether catching the live CBS broadcast on TV or streaming live, what follows is everything you need to be ready for the big night.
The Tony Awards Pre-Show
For the third year in a row, Tony night is being split into two broadcasts, beginning with a pre-show celebration of the season. It was announced today that the 90-minute streaming event will be hosted by Julianne Hough and Skylar Astin, but organizers have been scant with details beyond that. Theatre fans will just have to wait for June 11 to find out! If it's like last year, we can expect some award categories to be given out during the pre-show, though not necessarily as part of the stream. You'll want to keep Playbill.com up on your phone or computer to stay up to date with the latest in everything Tony Awards June 11, including anything notable that happens during commercial breaks.
The pre-show will begin at 6:30 PM ET, streaming live on Pluto TV. If you're not familiar with that streamer, it's one of a handful of completely free streaming services, so everyone should be good to go there. The service doesn't even require creating an account. The Tony Awards pre-show will air on the streamer's Pluto TV Celebrity channel. You can download the Pluto TV app onto your devices or you can stream Act One from your desktop computer, so you really have no excuse to not tune in.
The 76th Annual Tony Awards
The Tony Awards ceremony proper will follow the Act One pre-show, hosted as it was last year by West Side Story Oscar winner Ariana DeBose. With the WGA Strike still fully active, there are a fair amount of question marks about the main Tony Awards broadcast this year as well. This year's ceremony will be unscripted, so any host or presenter banter will have to be off-the-cuff. The good news is we can pretty much count on seeing winners named and performances from Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical nominees (as well as performances from musicals that were not nominated).

As for how to watch, the three-hour awards ceremony will air live on CBS and stream simultaneously on Paramount+ (for premium-level subscribers only) from 8 PM ET. The broadcast will also be available to stream on demand on Paramount+ for all membership tiers following the live stream.
Another option is any streaming cable service that carries a local CBS affiliate—like YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, FuboTV, and a host of others. These won't offer on demand access to the ceremony after the live broadcast, but they will let you stream the Tonys live.
Outside the U.S.
If you're not within the United States, you may not have access to the above platforms, but there are international partners broadcasting the Tony Awards around the world.
