Digital and in-person rush ticket policies have been revealed for Broadway's The Last Five Years, giving fans a way to see Nick Jonas and Adrienne Warren in the Jason Robert Brown musical for just $49.
In-person rush tickets will be available on the day of each performance at the Hudson Theatre box office, which opens at 10 AM. Each patron can purchase up to two tickets per person, subject to availability.
Rush tickets will be sold via the TodayTix app, with $49 tickets available the morning of each performance at 9 AM ET. Digital rush tickets are also limited to two per person.
The production begins its Broadway run March 18 ahead of an April 6 opening night, with Whitney White at the helm. Jonas and Warren are starring as Jamie and Cathy, respectively. Standbys Noah Kieserman and Nasia Thomas round out the company.
The Last Five Years tracks a five-year relationship between Cathy and Jamie from beginning to end via intertwining solo songs, with Jamie's story unfolding chronologically and Cathy's reverse chronologically. The musical, which premiered at Skokie, Illinoise's Northlight Theatre before a 2002 Off-Broadway run at Minetta Lane Theatre starring Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott, has become a particular favorite among theatre fans. This Broadway bow is the work's first, following an Off-Broadway revival in 2013 and a film adaptation in 2014.
