Allan Nicholls, who played both Claude and Berger during the original Broadway run of Hair, offers an evening at Joe's Pub March 18.

Entitled Chasing the Thrill, the concert will take audiences through Nicholls' personal musical journey. The actor is joined by the Not Your Parents' Pit Band, which features music director Ben Covello on keyboards, Nate Repasz on drums and vocals, Gene Taylor on bass and vocals, and Eitan Prouser on guitar. Show time is 7 PM.

Nicholls will reprise his leading roles in such shows as Hair, InnerCity/Mother Goose, Jesus Christ Superstar, and more.

“This concert at Joe’s Pub is a real full-circle moment for me,” states Nicholls, “as Hair was the inaugural production of the Public Theater when Joe Papp opened this now revered venue in October 1967…We hope audiences will look back fondly on a time when their own hair was 'shoulder length or longer' and leave with a renewed sense of possibility about life’s 'long and winding road.'”
