Jordan Fisher, who has been seen on television as Doody in Grease: Live, as well as in Disney Channel’s Liv and Maddie, will join the Broadway cast of Hamilton in the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton.
Hamilton marks Fisher’s Broadway debut. He replaces original cast member Anthony Ramos, who exits the production November 20 to begin filming a lead in the Spike Lee Netflix series She’s Gotta Have It. Fisher begins performances November 22.
Fisher worked with Hamilton director Thomas Kail on Fox’s Emmy-winning live broadcast of Grease earlier this year. The Tony-winning musical was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Fisher is also known for his top 40 single “All About Us” and his eponymous debut EP in August. His first full-length debut album will be released next year.
