Frances Mayli McCann and Jordan Luke Gage, who starred in the April-July limited engagement of Bonnie & Clyde The Musical at London's Arts Theatre, will return to their roles for the return engagement of the Frank Wildhorn musical next year in the West End.
Performances will begin March 4, 2023, for an 11-week season at The Garrick Theatre. McCann, who received an Olivier nomination for creating the role of Kylah in Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour, will again play Bonnie with Gage, best known for originating the role of Romeo in the Olivier-winning & Juliet, as Clyde. Additional casting will be announced.
The production is directed by Nick Winston with arrangements and orchestrations by John McDaniel, set and costume design by Philip Witcomb, musical supervision from Katy Richardson, lighting design by Zoe Spurr, sound design by Tom Marshall, video design by Nina Dunn, and casting by Jim Arnold.
With music by Tony nominee Wildhorn (Wonderland, Jekyll & Hyde, The Civil War, The Scarlet Pimpernel), lyrics by Tony winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard), and a book by Ivan Menchell (The Cemetery Club), Bonnie & Clyde played Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre November 4-December 30, 2011, directed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun. Center stage as the title characters were Tony nominees Jeremy Jordan and Laura Osnes.
