The cast features Molly Pope (Found), Ali Ewoldt (The King and I), George Abud (The Visit), Ariana DeBose (Hamilton), Josh Dela Cruz (Aladdin), Jason Forbach (Les Misérables), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), Olli Haaskivi (Saturday Night), James Jackson Jr. (The Black-Ups), Larry Owens (Gigantic), Joseph Spieldenner (Les Miserables) and Alex Wyse (Spring Awakening), along with the Sondheimas Boys Choir: Steven Cuevas, Sean Doherty, Matthew Lummus and Eric Williams, plus Scottie Rowell as the voice of Puppet Sondheim.

The show was inspired by author Rachel Shukert, who first described the holiday on Twitter and then further expanded on it in her book "Let Me Be Your Star."
