The Schitt's Creek — Cabaret Playbill was created and designed through PLAYBILLder, a platform that lets you build your very own fully-licensed and Broadway-quality Playbill. Schitt's Creek centers on a wealthy family—led by video store magnate Johnny (Eugene Levy) and his soap opera star wife Moira (Catherine O'Hara)—that find themselves completely broke. Their sole remaining asset is a small town called Schitt's Creek, which the Roses bought as a gag gift years earlier. With their life of luxury now firmly in the past, the Rose family is forced to face their newfound poverty head-on and come together as a family to survive in their new home.
The fifth season, which premiered earlier this year, sees the town putting on a community theatre production of John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff's Cabaret, directed by none other than Moira Rose herself (along with co-director Jocelyn Schitt). Characters taking on roles in the 1966 Broadway classic include Rosebud motel co-owner Stevie Budd (Emily Hampshire) as Sally Bowles, Rose Apothecary business partner Patrick Brewer (Noah Reid) as the Emcee, and Alexis Rose (Annie Murphy) as Kit Kat Dancer #6.
The fifth season finale, which will feature performances from Cabaret, will air April 10 at 10 PM ET on Pop TV in the U.S. The show, created by Eugene Levy and his son and co-star Dan Levy, was recently renewed for a sixth and final season.
