We're getting a first look inside the rehearsal room for the world premiere of Grant MacDermott’s Jasper, which begins previews September 8 prior to an official opening September 14 at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.
Directed by Katie McHugh, the cast features Dominic Fumusa (NurseJackie, Wait Until Dark), Abigail Hawk (BlueBloods), and Jessica Pimentel (OrangeIstheNewBlack) with understudies Justin Adams and Jessica DiGiovanni.
A couple struggle to keep their ill child and their marriage alive in the new play. A chance encounter changes everything and forces them to re-evaluate their circumstances.
The production will have set and costume design by Michael Gianfrancesco, lighting design by Robin A. Paterson, sound design by John Gromada, intimacy direction by Judi Lewis-Ockler, and casting by JZ Casting. The production stage manager is Merrick Williams with production management by FIVE OHM. LDK Productions is the general manager.
