Admission is free. The author will direct her play, in which "five women, all undercover cops, meet regularly for drinks, games and relaxation. Late one night they get a call that changes all their lives."
The reading cast will include Autumn Horne, Margery Lowe, Angie Radosh, Deborah L. Sherman and Laura Turnbull.
Marjorie O'Neill-Butler co-produced/directed over 300 productions as managing director/producer of the Green Mountain Guild (Killington Playhouse) in Vermont for 24 years. Her recent directing credits include Whose Life Is It Anyway?, Greater Tuna, Central Park West, Words of Mass Deception and The Seagull. As an actress, stage roles include A in Three Tall Women with the Public Theatre in Florida (nominee Best Ensemble Carbonell Awards 2003; nominee Best Actress Curtain Up Award 2004), The Women's Theatre Project's Hold Please, Amanda in The Glass Menagerie and Deborah in Other Places with New Theatre. She is the co-author of "Tax Guide for Performers: Buy This Book, It's Deductible!" and is also a produced playwright of nine theatre for children plays. She holds an MA from New York University.
