Exclusive Pics From a Literally "Steamy" Day With Significant Other Star Gideon Glick
The cast of this coming-of-age story about a gay bachelor looking for love in the city features Wicked star Lindsay Mendez, Tony nominee Barbara Barrie (original cast of Company), John Behlmann (The 39 Steps), Gideon Glick, Sas Goldberg, Carra Patterson and Luke Smith.
The limited engagement, directed by Trip Cullman (Punk Rock, Murder Ballad), runs through Aug. 16 at the Laura Pels Theatre.
According to Roundabout, Significant Other is a story about single life in the city: "Jordan Berman would love to be in love, but that's easier said than done. So until he meets Mr. Right, he wards off lonely nights with his trio of close-knit girlfriends. But as singles' nights turn into bachelorette parties, Jordan finds that supporting the ones you love can be just as impossible as finding love itself."
Harmon's Bad Jews was the third most-produced work around the country this season. It premiered at Roundabout's Underground Black Box theatre in 2012 in a sold-out extended run and transferred the following year to the Laura Pels Theatre. His work has also been produced and developed by Manhattan Theatre Club, Hangar Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival and Ars Nova, among others. He is currently in development with Roundabout for a new, commissioned play.
Tickets are available by visiting roundabouttheatre.org or by calling (212) 719-1300. The Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre is located at 111 West 46th St., New York.
