Honeymoon in Vegas has a book by "Blazing Saddles" and "Fletch" writer Andrew Bergman and a score by three-time Tony Award winner Brown. The production opened on Broadway Jan. 15, 2015, at the Nederlander Theatre after premiering at the Paper Mill Playhouse in the fall of 2013. Despite strong critical response, the production played only 66 previews and 93 regular performances before it closed April 5, 2015.

A national tour of the Broadway production is slated to launch in 2016 featuring original Broadway cast member Tony Danza. Professional and amateur licensing rights will be released following the tour's conclusion.

The musical, according to press notes, "tells the story of Jack Singer, a regular guy with an extreme fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy to marry him. But when they head to Las Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman, looking for a second chance at love, falls head over heels for Betsy. What happens next is anybody's bet!"
