The original Tony-nominated director of the Broadway (and its prior Off-Broadway incarnation) Moritz von Stuelpnagel is directing a new English company in Robert Askins's Tony-nominated play. The cast comprises Janie Dee, Neil Pearson, Harry Melling, Jemina Rooper and Kevin Mains. It is produced in London by original Broadway producer Kevin McCollum joined by new U.K. partner Nica Burns.
The play is described in press materials as a semi-autobiographical story featuring one dead father, one messed up family, one girl who just wants to help, one school bully who always gets his own way, one man of the church offering comfort. And one hand puppet called Tyrone who is completely out of control.
