The one-man show from Linus Karp about Princess Diana has been selling out at the Scottish festival.

Linus Karp's campy one-man show about the Princess of Wales, Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story, will tour the U.K. after it completes its run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe August 28 (where it has played to sold-out houses).

The tour will begin September 27 in Birmingham before going to Poole, Manchester, Oxford, Bristol, Glasgow, Cardiff, Dublin, Nottingham, and Farnham. The tour will finish in London's Clapham Grand December 6 (which, maybe not coincidentally, will be around the same time as the one-night-only concert of Diana: The Musical).

Said Karp in a statement: "Last November, we opened this show in a 70-seat venue in London. A year later I am performing at Clapham Grand, 10 times the capacity. I can't believe the journey this show has taken me on already and am so thrilled audiences across the U.K. are so hungry for a show full of queer joy and the magical power of Princess Diana. Let's go girls."

In Diana, the Princess of Wales tells the audience her story from heaven. Prince Charles is played by a cardboard cutout, Camilla Parker Bowles is played by a puppet, Queen Elizabeth II is played by Geri Allen via interactive video, and everyone else is played by the audience. The cast includes Karp, Martin as the voice of Charles and Camilla, Geri Allen as Queen Elizabeth, and Zina Badran as God.

Diana is produced by Karp's Awkward Productions. It is written, directed, and performed by Karp. The show's co-director, puppeteer, and stage manager is Joseph Martin. The creative team includes designer Amy Pitt, choreographer Sam Carlyle, composer-graphic designer Wez Maddocks, LX designer Ebbe Rodtborg, additional LX designer James Appleby, photographer-videographer Dave Bird, video editor Daniel Boylett, drag and makeup designer Carrot, puppetry consultant Tara Boland.
