Awkward Productions' Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story begins performances at London's Kings Head Theatre April 17, following its sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and U.K. tour. The show combines drag, multimedia, audience interaction, puppetry, and queer joy. It will run through May 5.

Written, directed, and produced by Linus Karp, the cult hit offers a camp portrayal of The People's Princess and the other royals, highlighting Diana's groundbreaking stances on social and queer issues. Linus Karp stars as Diana.

Karp is joined onstage by Charles, Camilla Joseph Martin as Charles and Camilla, Geri Allen as The Queen, and Zina Badran as God.

Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story features co-directing, puppeteering, and stage management by Joseph Martin, design by Amy Pitt, choreography by Sam Carlyle, composing and graphic design by Wez Maddocks, LX design by Ebbe Rodtborg, additional LX design by James Appleby, photography and videography by Dave Bird, video editing by Daniel Boylett, drag and makeup by Carrot, and puppetry consulting by Tara Boland.
