Broadway stars are set for the concert presentation of winning songs from the annual Write Out Loud contest, spotlighting up-and-coming musical theatre writers. Tony nominee Taylor Louderman, who launched the contest in 2019, will host the concert, to be presented April 26 at 9:30 PM at Feinstein's/54 Below.
The cast for the 3rd volume's concert is set to include Linedy Genao (Dear Evan Hansen), Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin, Between the Lines), Derek Klena (Anastasia, Jagged LIttle Pill), Hannah Kloepfer, Desi Oakley (Waitress), Tee Boyich (Mean Girls), Gabe Violett (The Voice, Spring Awakening), and Eleri Ward. More performers are expected to be annouced.
This year's winning songs are "Perfect Portrait" by Taylor Fagins, "Pity Party" by Chloe Geller, "Year In Review" by Anna M Johnson, "Vow" by Matthew Peña, "Falling" by Kat Siciliano. The concert will also feature songs from selected finalists including Grant Albright, Aria Braswell, Suzanna Champion, Vaibu Mohan, Rebecca Murillo, Jordan Silver and Luke Steinhauer, SMJ and Sarah Flaim, Isabel Stein and Simone Clotile.
Benjamin Rauhala will serve as musical director for the concert, produced by Hannah Kloepfer and Sarah Glugatch with Josh Collopy.
