
The concert features Daniel Jenkins, who earned a Tony nomination for his performance as Huck in the original 1985 production and later played Mark Twain/Voice of Huck in the 2003 Deaf West staging, and Michael McElroy, who earned a Tony nomination for his performance as Jim in the 2003 production. They are joined by Tony nominee Marin Mazzie (Ragtime, Bullets Over Broadway), who stepped into the role of Mary Jane Wilkes during the production's original run.
The evening also features Jennifer Leigh Warren, who recreates her performance of "How Blest We Are," as well as Jelani Alladin, Scott Coulter, Daryl Glenn, Tara Halpern, Karen Mack, Rob Maitner, Nicole Prothro, Lille Ricciardi, Michael Ruocco, Christina Sajous, Melanie Vaughan, Lennie Watts and Garrett Zuercher.
The 7 PM and 9:30 PM concerts are directed by Phil Geoffrey Bond and feature music direction by Mark Hartman and The Muddy Water Quartet.
Big River has a book by William Hauptman and music and lyrics by Roger Miller. The 1985 Broadway production won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
