Cabaret Gourmet, set to begin at 7 PM at the American Airlines Theatre Penthouse, will benefit The Play Company's productions and artistic programs.
Restaurants with tasting tables at Cabaret Gourmet include Amali, Gramercy Tavern, Market Table, Mehtaphor, Swine, La Silhouette, Kyotofu and Valrhona Chocolate, along with fine wines and spirits by Tuthilltown Spirits, Del Maguey and Red Tail Ridge Winery.
The evening will also include a silent auction with opportunities to bid on backstage passes to Broadway shows; exclusive dining, cooking and spa experiences; exclusive Fashion Week packages and more.
Breaker is a Tony Award nominee and 2008 Theatre World Award winner for the musical Passing Strange and a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominee for Shrek the Musical.
The benefit committee for Cabaret Gourmet includes Eric Case and Christina McNamara, Trip Cullman, Warren Fraser, Marianne and Steve Mills, Kyra Tirana Barry and Dave Barry, Adam Zeller and Ryan Kroft. The Play Company most recently presented Working on a Special Day with Por Piedad Teatro. In May-June, The Play Company will present the New York premiere of The Golden Dragon by Roland Schimmelpfennig, one of Europe's most produced playwrights, directed by Ed Sylvanus Iskandar (These Seven Sicknesses).
