The work follows a faith healer traveling the Welsh and Scottish countryside. Presented as four monologues, the play cycles through the same events from multiple vantage points. The play premiered in 1979 at Boston's Colonial Theatre, later playing a brief run on Broadway. In the years since, Faith Healer has become a classic of Irish playwriting, with a number of revivals worldwide.
The production features scenic design by Luciana Stecconi, costume design by Jen Caprio, lighting design by David Lander, and sound design by Fabian Obispo. Renée Lutz is production stage manager.
