Special Events Celebrate the 21 Broadway Debuts in The Music Man With Its Barbershop Quartet

The special event was hosted by Jefferson Mays outside of the Winter Garden Theatre February 9.

Tony Award-winner Jefferson Mays kicked off festivities for the opening week of The Music Man with a celebration of the 21 young cast members making Broadway debuts. 

Across from the Winter Garden Theatre, people gathered to celebrate the Broadway newcomers Gino Cosculluela, Emma Crow, Benjamin Pajak, Kayla Teruel, Nick Alvino, Jordan Beall, Ronnie Bowman Jr., Audrey Cardwell, JT Church, Kammie Crum, Aydin Eyikan, Carlee Flanagan, Ethan Green-Younger, Emily Hoder, Ethan Lafazan, Mitchell Tobin, Kayla LaVine, Drew Minard, Tanner Quirk, Daniel Patrick Russell, and
William Colin. The event featured a performance by the musical’s Barbershop Quartet, featuring Broadway alums Phillip Boykin, Eddie Korbich, Daniel Torres, and Nicholas Ward. The event marked the first time any cast members have been seen in costume outside of the theatre.

See Jefferson Mays Celebrate The Music Man’s 21 Broadway Debuts

The Music Man opens February 10 at the Winter Garden Theatre featuring Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo under the direction of Jerry Zaks and with choreography by Warren Carlyle. Jackman and Foster each have won two Tony Awards; Jackman has also won a Grammy and an Emmy. Zaks has four Tony Awards, and Carlyle has also won a Tony Award.
