Elton John, Jake Shears, and James Graham's Tammy Faye begins performances October 19 at Broadway’s newly refurbished Palace Theatre, and the production has announced some affordable ticketing options. Opening night is set for November 14, with Rupert Goold directing.
A limited number of $30 in-person student rush tickets will be available for each performance with a valid student ID. Patrons may purchase up to two tickets per person when the box office opens. While tickets are subject to availability, a minimum of two tickets will be available for each performance. Seats may be partial view.
The production will also offer a digital lottery powered by Broadway Direct. The lottery will be open from 9 AM-3 PM ET the day before each performance, with the exception of the first performance, when the lottery will open at 10:00 AM October 15. Lottery winners will be notified within minutes of 3 PM, and will have one hour to claim up to two $45 tickets. Seats may be partial view, and tickets are subject to availability.

Based on the life of American evangelist Tammy Faye Messner, Tammy Faye tells the story of Messner's rise to national recognition atop a Christian television empire. She and her then-husband and fellow televangelist Jim Bakker founded The PTL Club (Praise the Lord) in 1974, a platform they used to preach to millions. Messner, who died in 2007, was noted for her compassion for the LGBTQIA+ community during the AIDS epidemic, despite conflict between the community and the church.
Goold is reuniting much of his London creative team for the Broadway premiere, including choreographer Lynne Page (Ink), orchestrators Tom Deering and Mark Dickman (Deering is also music supervisor, arranger, and has penned additional music), scenic designer Bunny Christie, costume designer Katrina Lindsay, lighting designer Neil Austin, and video designer Finn Ross. Joining the team for the Broadway run is sound designer Nick Lidster for Autograph. Wig, hair, and make-up design will by by Luc Verschueren for Campbell Young Associates.
