The global juggernaut that is Six will take over a new continent when it holds court at Sydney Opera House beginning January 4, 2020.
The musical, based on the six wives of Henry VIII, is a concert-esque show with pop style music that has made its international presence known with a series of engagements, including an upcoming Broadway bow at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Casting for the Australian bow will be announced at a later date.

After its 2017 Edinburgh Fringe launch, Six held a sold-out run in London and a successful North American premiere in Chicago. The show moves to A.R.T. in Cambridge, Massachusetts beginning August 21, taking the Windy City's cast with it.
Six was conceived by Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow while the pair studied at Cambridge University in the U.K. Following its West End debut, the show earned five Olivier Award nominations including Best New Musical.
The Sydney production is presented in association with Louise Withers, Michael Coppel, and Linda Bewick by arrangement with Kenny Wax, Andy & Wendy Barnes and George Stiles. The musical's original creative team includes directors Moss and Jamie Armitage, choreographer Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, set designer Emma Bailey, costume designer by Gabriella Slade, and orchestrator by Tom Curran.
