Benefits and Galas Bernadette Peters Will Host Manhattan Theatre Club's 2025 Gala

The three-time Tony honoree is currently co-starring in the company's Broadway run of Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends.

Three-time Tony honoree Bernadette Peters, currently starring on Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends for Manhattan Theatre Club at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, will host the company's 2025 spring gala, set for May 19 at Cipriani 42nd Street. The event will honor Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

The evening will also feature performances from Broadway's Maybe Happy EndingSunset Blvd., and Old Friends, with additional shows to be announced.

Jason Michael Webb will music direct the event, with sound design by Leon Rothenberg and lighting design by Joel Shier. James Fitzsimmons and Jereme Kyle Lewis will serve as stage managers.

Proceeds raised will go towards the non-profit theatre company and its annual Broadway and Off-Broadway programming, as well as educational programs.
