The 2-4 PM memorial will include remarks from Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis. Aldredge designed costumes for some of the Public's most acclaimed productions, including Hair, A Chorus Line, That Championship Season and Sticks and Bones, as well as the revival of The Threepenny Opera.

Members of the public may attend the memorial at the Public Theater.

Also present will be Aldredge's husband, actor Tom Aldredge, as well as a host of theatre veterans who worked with the late designer, including Olympia Dukakis, Cigdem Onat, Ming Cho Lee, Bob Avian, Tyne Daly, Arthur Laurents and Joel Grey. Her niece Merope Vachlioti will also speak.

Aldredge earned 15 Tony Award nominations during her extensive career as a Broadway costume designer, winning three for La Cage aux Folles, Barnum and Annie. Her numerous credits also include Sweet Bird of Youth, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Dreamgirls, Gypsy, Chess, The Rink and 42nd Street. She also designed such films as "Annie", "Addams Family Values," "The First Wives Club", "Ghost Busters," "Moonstruck" and "The Rose." Aldredge died Jan. 21, 2011.
