News Alan Cumming Will Tour the World Performing Sappy Songs Tony Award winner Alan Cumming will embark on a tour performing his new concert series Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs.

The tour will begin Aug. 29 at the Edinburgh Book Festival, where Cumming will appear with Ian Rankin. He will next appear at The Columbia Club, Indianapolis, Sept. 12-13, with his musical director, Lance Horne, and cellist Eleanor Norton. Horne and Norton will also appear with Cumming at the Kean University in Hillside, NJ, Sept. 26-27. 

Performances are also scheduled for Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts Nov. 7, where Cumming will present Alan Cumming: UNCUT. 

Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs will also be presented Nov. 14 at Borgata Music Box Theater, Atlantic City, NH; Dec. 5 at The Zeiterion Theatre, New Bedford, MA; Jan. 24, 2016, at Florida's Straz Center in Tampa, FL; Feb. 28 at the Florida Arts Center in Naples, FL; March 26 at Minneapolis Orchestra Hall, MN; and Landmark on Main Street, Port Washington, NY. 

Cumming most recently starred in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Cabaret and co-hosted the 2015 Tony Awards with Kristin Chenoweth. His stage credits also include Macbeth, The Threepenny Opera and Design for Living
