Video 25 Days of Tonys: What Famous Choreographer Influenced Hadestown’s David Neumann? The Tony nominee reveals his choreographic influences and what he’s most proud of with Broadway’s Hadestown.

David Neumann has been with Hadestown from the start. But the biggest change since its Off-Broadway outing is the addition of the Workers’ Chorus, which demanded more of the choreographer.

“There’s an approach that I'm very proud of,” he says in the video above. “You get to feel the ensemble. You get to understand how they feel throughout the entire show. That’s something I really fought for.”
