Tony Award winner John Gore has announced the launch of his new film and TV production studio, John Gore Studios Ltd. Gore will serve as Executive Chairman, with Hilary Strong as CEO.
The studio will be headquartered in London, with offices in New York. According to press notes, it will be "dedicated to celebrating and preserving the legacy of iconic heritage brands, such as Hammer Films, while ushering in a new era of storytelling that captivates audiences worldwide."
John Gore Studios will adopt similar strategies to those the John Gore Organization currently employs in the the theatre industry, through its media companies including Broadway Across America, Broadway.com, The Broadway Channel, BroadwayBox, and Group Sales Box Office.
Strong previously served as CEO of Agatha Christie Ltd., among other strategic leadership and intellectual property rights optimization positions. Joining her on the executive team will be Chief Acquisitions Officer, Head of Creative Development Jamie Anderson, and Head of Brand and Communications Ellen Ray.

John Gore Studios is currently set to produce two upcoming films. The Bitter End (working title) is set to begin filming in May, with Mike Newell directing from a screenplay by Louise Fennell, and Joan Collins starring. The second film, Ithaqua, is created, directed, and co-produced by Casey Walker; penned by Walker, Peter Vicaire, and Pascal Trottier; and starring Luke Hemsworth, Kevin Durand, Michael Pitt, Craig Lauzon, and Leenah Robinson.
