Described as a "grail quest to find the key to the new Golden Age of the city", Empire Travel Agency will take four audience members at a time on a journey "through the streets, tunnels, and abandoned buildings of Lower Manhattan."

Empire Travel Agency is directed by Teddy Bergman, and features text by Jason Gray Platt with original musical arrangements by Matt Citron.

Woodshed Collective is known for their work in immersive, installation and site-specific theatre, which is presented free of charge. Their goal is to handcraft worlds in which their audiences can "athleticize their senses, emotions, and minds."

Notable productions include Twelve Ophelias presented in McCarren Pool Park, The Confidence Man presented on a decommissioned steamship in the Hudson River, and The Tenant presented in the 19th Century Parish House on the Upper West Side.
