Maimuna Memon, whose new musical Manic Street Creature recently won an Edinburgh Fringe First, will star.

Kosar Ali, Mariam Haque, Maimuna Memon, Laurence Ubong Williams, and Ragevan Vasan.

Casting has been announced for the West End production of Rabiah Hussain's Word-Play at London's Royal Court Theatre. The production will begin previews September 29 prior to an official opening October 4 for a limited engagement through November 5.

Kosar Ali, Mariam Haque, Maimuna Memon, Laurence Ubong Williams, and Ragevan Vasan will star. Nimmo Ismail directs.

The new play, which explores the relationship between language, public consciousness, and generational impact, is set in the Downing Street Press Office as the press relations team for the Prime Minister handles the newest trouble: The Prime Minister's ad-libbed TV remarks have earned accusations of Islamophobia and demands for an apology.

The creative team also includes designer Rosanna Vize, lighting designer Jamie Platt, sound designer Melanie Wilson, video designer Daberechi Ukoha-Kalu, movement director Ken Nakajima, and dramaturg Ellie Fulcher.
