Edward Albee's longtime summer home in Montauk, Long Island, is currently for sale, according to Newsday. The four-bedroom, three-bathroom house, where the late playwright wrote the Pulitzer-winning Seascape, is currently listed for $20 million.
The home sits on 2.8 acres with 200 feet of oceanfront and was Albee's summer home for five decades. The property, which the playwright designed himself, also includes a guesthouse, a pool, a pool house, and a tennis court.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Edward F. Albee Foundation.
Albee died in September 2016 following a short illness. In addition to Seascape, he won the Pulitzer Prize for A Delicate Balance and Three Tall Women; the latter was revived on Broadway this past season.
