News Perez Hilton To Star as Danny Tanner in Full House! The Musical! Blogger Perez Hilton is set to star as family patriarch Danny Tanner in Full House! Performances are set to begin at Toronto's Randolph Theatre Aug. 18 through Sept. 6. The New York City engagement will play Sept. 9 through Nov. 29 at Theater 80 in the East Village.

From the creators of Bayside! The Musical!, which will soon finish up a two-year, multi-extended run Off-Broadway, comes another 90's-inspired show. In the musical spoof, the beloved Tanner family faces a crisis: Patriarch Danny has lost his knack for sensible dad speeches and as a consequence begins a descent into madness, turning from lovable, wholesome Danny Tanner to the dark and crass Bob Saget.

Fans of the sitcom can expect to have important questions answered, such as "Will D.J. Tanner develop an eating disorder?!" and "Can Uncle Joey get on Star Search even though he’s not funny at all?!"

Joining Hilton, the cast will feature Seth Blum as Joey Gladstone, John Duff as Jesse Katsopolis, Amanda Nicholas as DJ Tanner, Marguerite Halcovage as Stephanie Tanner and Marshall Louise as the Olsen Twins.

Full House! The Musical! features book, music, lyrics and stage direction by Bob and Tobly McSmith (Bayside! The Musical!; Showgirls! The Musical!). The creative team also includes Jason Wise as choreographer and associate director, scenic design and stage management by Bryan Hartlett, warm-up and lighting design by Adam Lash, sound design by Lauren Vargas and Katie Dolan as assistant musical director.

To purchase tickets, visit FullHouseTheMusical or the Theatre 80 box office. Theatre 80 is located at 80 St. Mark’s Place at First Ave.
