Pint of Wine Theatre Company will present a development workshop of new musical The Bridge of San Luis Rey March 25 in London. 

The principal cast for the workshop features Asha Banks (Spring Awakening), Tiago Dhondt-Bamberger, Marc Elliott (Urinetown), Kaisa Hammarlund (Fun Home), Abiona Omonua (Caroline, Or Change), Eve Polycarpou (In the Heights), Martin Callaghan (Chicago), Celinde Schoenmaker (Les Misérables), and Jo Servi (Dreamgirls).

Musical theatre writing team Tim Connor and Susannah Pearse are adapting the Thornton Wilder Pulitzer-winning novel of the same name. The story explores the lives of five strangers who die in the collapse of a rope bridge in Peru as a friar attempts to find answers for why they died and what brought them to that final moment. 

Richard Fitch will direct. Joe Bunker will provide musical direction and John Greyson will provide guitar and charango.
