On the Rialto New Broadway Studio Tour to Give Theatre Fans Real-Life Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse at How Shows Get Made

The Broadway Studios Tour will begin daily private tours of active rehearsal studio complex Open Jar Studios later this month.

A new tour launching this month in NYC looks to take theatre fans behind the scenes and outside the theatre to an active rehearsal studio complex, showing how and where new shows get created long before the curtain goes up.

The first-of-its-kind Broadway Studios Tour, which will give attendees a look at Open Jar Studios, is scheduled to begin daily private tours June 14.

Among the Broadway titles that have rehearsed at Open Jar are Moulin Rouge! The MusicalHadestownChicago, and MJ The Musical, among many others. The half-hour tour, led by a member of the industry, will focus on rehearsals and professional training with insight into the creation of a Broadway show. Along with insider stories, tours will include opportunities to view rare Broadway artifacts and the possibility of peeking inside actual rehearsal rooms in use by Broadway productions.

Tickets, both individual and for groups, are available at BroadwayStudiosTour.com.
