& Juliet flips the script on the William Shakespeare classic, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo. Featuring a book by David West Read, the score includes a mix of tunes by Max Martin and more, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “I Want It That Way,” and “Confident.” Boyd and Luff play Juliet and Anne Hathaway, respectively, in the musical's current cast. Both joined in 2024. The musical is getting ready to celebrate its third anniversary on Broadway at the Sondheim Theatre.

Along with a chat with Boyd and Luff, the & Juliet episode of The Playbill Podcast also features host Playbill Chief Operating Officer and Vice President Alex Birsh, joined by Playbill Director of Events and Branded Content Leonard Rodino, our resident superfan of the musical, to discuss what has made this musical such a long-running hit and audience favorite.
