Classic Arts News Lincoln Center Kids Presents Soundtrack ’63 in Honor of Black History Month The special February show chronicles events from the Civil Rights Movement to Black Lives Matter through performance.

On February 23, Lincoln Center Kids presents Soundtrack ’63 as part of the 2018–2019 season. The multimedia music performance chronicles the African-American experience from before the Middle Passage through today’s Black Lives Matter movement.

Through folk and gospel sounds as well as hip-hop music, an 11-piece orchestra and vocal group will present a story of history and spirit.

Lincoln Center Kids programming includes ticketed and free events in dance, theatre, and music all year from local New York artists and those around the world. Programming also includes relaxed performances for audiences of varying needs.
