The Latiné Musical Theatre Lab’s Table Reading Series is returning for its second year. The program will present private readings of 20 new musicals, an increase from the program's inaugural presentation of 11 readings.

Submissions will open for the 2023 Table Reading Series February 20.

Along with the readings, writers will receive creative support and feedback from a professional dramaturg. “By providing a free space for writers to test and refine the current draft of their show, the Lab continues in its commitment to elevating the work of Latiné writers and providing resources to eliminate the gap in opportunity in the theatre industry for Latin creatives,” said Lab’s Founder and Executive Director Ryan Morales Green.

The Table Reading Series is supported by The Miranda Family Fund, as well as institutional partners Amas Musical Theatre and Teatro Latea which will provide venues for the presentations.
