A reading of Jessi Blue Gormezano's Remarkably Normal is presented September 26 at 7 PM at the Abingdon Theatre Company's June Havoc Theatre.

The cast features Jon Rua (Hamilton, In the Heights), Kathryn Erbe (Law & Order Criminal Intent), Tamara Tunie (Law & Order SVU), Sharron Paul (Cheap Date Comedy Show), James Chen (Walking Dead), Gisela Chipe (The Good Wife), Dan Daily (Wolf of Wall Street), Tracey Conyer Lee (All the Way), Shanta Parasuraman (The Buddy Holly Story) and Evelyn Spahr (Vinyl). Jessi D. Hill directs.

“One in three women will have an abortion in her lifetime,” according to press notes. “This documentary play moves past the noise of the current political climate and focuses on the people who receive and provide abortion care. Exclusively composed of interviews and stories submitted to the 1 in 3 Campaign, this play is soulful, funny, and at times challenging. Remarkably Normal reveals the stories behind the statistics.”

All proceeds go to the National Network of Abortion Funds.
