Broadway News Jessica Keenan Wynn Returns to Cast of Broadway’s Beautiful: The Carole King Musical July 2 The hit musical continues at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Jessica Keenan Wynn, who was seen in the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again film, steps back into the role of songwriter Cynthia Weil at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre beginning July 2.

Wynn succeeds Kara Lindsay.

Vanessa Carlton, whose 2002 singles "A Thousand Miles" and "Ordinary Day" became breakthrough hits, currently stars in the title role. She's playing a limited engagement through September 1. The current cast also includes Ben Jacoby as Barry Mann, Evan Todd as Gerry Goffin, and Michele Pawk as Genie Klein.

With a book by Tony and Academy Award nominee Douglas McGrath, direction by Marc Bruni, and choreography by Josh Prince, Beautiful features an array of songs written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King and Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. The musical was nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Actress in a Musical, which Jessie Mueller won.
