Off-Broadway News Henry V, Starring Zenzi Williams, Begins Free Run at Public Theater The Robert O’Hara-helmed production arrives Off-Broadway following a three-week tour of the boroughs.

Performances begin April 23 at The Public Theater for the company's Mobile Unit staging of William Shakespeare's Henry V, helmed by playwright and director Robert O'Hara.

Starring Zenzi Williams (The Homecoming Queen) in the title role, the production arrives Off-Broadway for a free, sit-down run following a three-week tour of New York City's correctional facilities, homeless shelters, social service organizations, and other community venues.

Henry V will run at The Public through May 13 with an official opening on April 27. Free tickets are available via TodayTix mobile lottery and in-person at the theatre. On each performance date, tickets will be distributed beginning 90 minutes prior to curtain.

Completing the cast are Michael Bradley Cohen as Canterbury/Dauphin, Leland Fowler as Scroop/William-Bates, Patrice Johnson as Montjoy/Messengers, Carolyn Kettig as Katharine/Cambridge, Ariel Shafir as Westmoreland/Constable, David Ryan Smith as Exeter/Governor, Joe Tapper as French King/French Queen, and Kim Wong as Alice/Grey.

Henry V follows the war efforts of King Henry V of England. The drama is an exploration of war, ego, and leadership, while posing the universal question: What makes a person worthy of the throne and what do they owe the people they lead?

The production features scenic and costume design by Tony winner Clint Ramos and original music by Elisheba Ittoop. The Mobile Unit tour began performances March 29 at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center.
