Durango, directed by Chay Yew, is a co-production with the Long Wharf Theatre, where it played Sept. 13-Oct. 15. The Public is offering $10 tickets for Thursday performances of Durango. It is the first time the company has ever had such a promotion. Tickets will go on sale the day of those special-priced performances.

Durango follows of the story of a widowed father who embarks on a family road trip with his two sons but gets more than he bargained for. The work completes Cho's trilogy of plays set in the great American Southwest, including Architecture of Loss (seen at New York Theatre Workshop) and BFE (Long Wharf Theatre, Playwrights Horizons).

The cast features James Yaegashi (Take Me Out, A Naked Girl on the Appian Way), James Saito (BFE, Flower Drum Song), Ross Bickell (Noises Off, The Iceman Cometh), Jon Norman Schneider (Citizen 13559: The Journal of Ben Uchida - Kennedy Center) and Jay Sullivan (Dog Sees God at Soho Repertory Theatre).

The production includes original songs by Cho and additional music by Fabian Obispo. The design team for Durango comprises Dan Ostling (set), Linda Cho (costumes), Paul Whitaker (lighting) and Obispo (sound).
