Colin Quinn will bring his show, Colin Quinn: Red State Blue State to the Minetta Lane Theatre in January 2019. In the new solo work, Quinn tackles the absurdities, hypocrisies, and calamities on both sides of the political divide.

"We all know I don't owe this country anything. In fact it probably owes me," says Quinn. "You, however, owe the country a visit to my show to give it a proper send off before it implodes."

Colin Quinn: Red State Blue State will begin January 5 ahead of a January 22 opening. The show is directed by Bobby Moresco and produced by Audible—which will record and release the piece as an audio play—Mike Lavoie, Carlee Briglia, and Brian Stern.

"I couldn't be more excited to be working with Colin Quinn again, one of the smartest and funniest people in the business today, or any day," says Moresco, who worked with Quinn on Broadway in An Irish Wake.

Quinn also appeared on Broadway with Long Story Short" (also an HBO special), and Off-Broadway with his show Unconstitutional (available on Netflix). He was most recently seen Off-Broadway in his show The New York Story, directed by Jerry Seinfeld (also available on Netflix).

Red State Blue State features set design by Edward T. Morris, sound design by Sam Kusnetz, and lighting design by Aaron Copp.
