The Broadway-star line-up has been announced for Seth's Big Fat Broadway Cruise: Canaries and Portugal. Joining SiriusXM Broadway host/Playbill columnist/actor/musician Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley Jackson, will be Tony Award nominees Charlotte d'Amboise and Terrence Mann and Olivier Award-winner David Bedella. These stars are ready to set sail with guests October 8–19 aboard the Celebrity Apex.
Described by Rudetsky as "theatre camp at sea," the next voyage departs from Southampton, England and will stop at Spain’s Vigo, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria, and Portugal’s Funchal (Madeira), Lisbon, and Porto (Leixos), before returning to Southampton to disembark.
Said David Bedella in a statement: “Some of my happiest times, believe it or not, have been on a cruise. I love being at sea, surrounded by spectacular views, various ports to explore, more food and drink than anyone needs and all of us with a common goal, to relax and celebrate and have fun! As well as work on my harmony parts from the opening song of CATS, which I will be doing in my show! For real! My husband, who’s performing also, is Terry Mann, a real quadruple threat. I mean, he can sing, he can act, he can juggle, and he can ride a unicycle. Well, he used to anyway when he was starring in Barnum. But I digress …. I cannot wait to sit on our cabin balcony, just singing along with him singing 'Stars' from Les Mis. I’ve only heard it 642 times; but he’s my husband and I love him.
