Tony winner Alan Cumming will host his first Showtime comedy special, Club Cumming Presents a Queer Comedy Extravaganza, premiering September 2 at 10 PM ET.
The cabaret-style gathering will feature seven up-and-coming queer comedians, who will perform a mix of standup, characters, and musical performances. The 75-minute special will feature Joe Castle Baker, Julia Shiplett, duo Zach Teague and Drew Lausch, Nori Reed, Pat Regan, and Off-Broadway A Strange Loop star Larry Owens.

The Showtime special is produced by Matt Schuler with Cumming serving as executive producer and Ryan Cunningham serving as director and executive producer.
Cumming earned three Emmy nominations for his role as Eli Gold on The Good Wife and won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for the revival of Cabaret.
Cast members Fantasia Barrino, Corey Hawkins, Danielle Brooks, Taraji P. Henson, and more came together to celebrate the film in the lead up to its public premiere.
