Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award-winning composer Andrew Lloyd Webber celebrates his birthday March 22.
Webber made his Broadway debut writing music for Jesus Chris Superstar in 1971, beginning a five decade long career on the Main Stem. In the time since, he has created shows including Cats, Evita, The Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard, and more. Throughout that time, he has earned eight Tony Awards including a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018, four Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, and an Academy Award.
